The iPhone 4 just come out and it sure did make an amazing entrance, leaving behind all sales records in just one week it hit topped one million mark in a single day shattering all previous pre-order records for all Appleproducts!
The sales figures look promising but is this really something new?! Every Launch of an Apple product always promised an amazing piece of technology with innovations never seen before but this time apple might have fallen short of their routine. The iPhone 4S sadly feels less exciting. Don't be fooled by the sales figures; we all love the new car smell.
The iPhone 4S is 3 grams lighter, the camera has 3 more megapixels and a faster more powerful processor found in the iPad 2. Other upgrades include a bigger aperture of f/2.4, the illumination sensor has been improved and there's additional face detection. The storage capacity has been increased from 32GB to 64GB as well. It will also be pre-loaded with the iOS 5.All these upgrades seem nice and dandy but the reality of the matter is that the iPhone 4S is nothing more than an upgraded iPhone 4. Sure the memory increase sounds great and so does the 8MP camera but that only puts the iPhone 4S at the same line as the Samsung Galaxy S2 or other competing phones and it's still dragging behind and the pre-loaded iOS 5 can already take space in your iPhone 4.
It comes to thought; expected innovation in the iPhone 4S is nothing short of being juvenile. The iPhone 5 is about to hit the markets soon enough and all innovations were saved for it. After the passing of Steve Jobs the Apple might just be trying to get as many bucks as they can since he was the brain and the visionary that brought Apple to the heights it is now.
Saving up for the iPhone 5 now sounds astute however kids will be kids. We all want a shiny new phone with new gizmos and gadgets but tough luck. The iPhone 4Sdoesn't have any, might as well just wait for iPhone 5.
