WPF BackgroundWorker example

Ever wanted to execute a long running task without freezing your UI? The solution is to run it in a separate thread. There are other ways to achieve this, but in this post we will focus on the BackgroundWorker component, through a small WPF application. The BackgroundWorker This component runs asynchronously, and handles all the logic for creating a thread, so you do not have to care about this.
